Itch the Witch and her daughter Switch

An Itch the Witch story

by David Terry & Robert Neave

In Cackle Wood there lives a witch

who goes by the name of Switch.

She has a secret which makes her glum,

that she doesn't share with Itch her mum.

So Switch stays quiet and Switch stays sad;

this worries her friend, a chicken called Chad.

Chad is a caring bird; kind and bright,

so he sets out to make everything right ...

Itch the Witch and her best friend Chad the chicken continue their magical adventures in the enchanted land of Farfarr when Itch's daughter, Switch, has a secret that makes her sad. Can Chad help Switch tell the truth about why she's glum? Will Itch be able to find out how to make her daughter happy again?

'Itch the Witch and her daughter Switch' is the colourfully-illustrated sequel to 'Itch the Witch and a chicken called Chad', aimed at children aged 4 to 10 years old. Written in playful rhyming verse, it has imaginative characters, bold landscapes and entertaining graphics which bring the tale to life and keep readers fully immersed in the story.
